The Red Oak Alumni Association has partnered with The NC Community Foundation that will help make our Scholarship Program more successful going forward.
The Red Oak Alumni Scholarship will benefit high school graduates wishing to pursue their education at an institution of higher learning, including a college, university or community college. Special consideration will be given to students that have an association with the former Red Oak School, such as family members that attended the school or were employed by the former Nash County School.

Red Oak High School Alumni Scholarships
Criteria:
Eligible students will be high school graduates wishing to pursue their education at an institution of higher learning such as a college, university, or community college.
Special consideration will be given to students with immediate family members who attended, taught at, or were employed at the former Red Oak High School of Nash County, NC. Students must have a high school GPA of 2.63 or above, show evidence of academic promise, involvement and leadership in extra-curricular activities in high school, involvement in the community and church, and demonstration of high moral character and good citizenship. ***PLEASE NOTE: Because the Red Oak Alumni Scholarship gives special consideration to students who have an association with the former Red Oak High School (as described above), applicants must include information about their connection to Red Oak High School in their essays.
